    Vijayalayan Foundation is an organization that was started in memory of our son who served as an Ottawa Police Officer and formerly as a Combat Engineer in the Canadian Armed Forces.

    Due to the persistent war and conflict in Sri Lanka many students in the northern and eastern provinces face challenges in pursuing their education. Additionally, Tamil children, who have been instrumental in Sri Lanka economic development for the past 200 years are still struggling to live quality lives.The Vijayalayan Foundation exists to foster educational development for Tamil children.

    We can achieve our goals by providing quality education to every child, and we firmly believe that good education has the power to elevate our society to greater heights

    கனடிய இராணுவத்தின் பொறியளாராகவும், ஒட்டவா நகரின் காவற்துறை அதிகாரியாகவும் கடமையாற்றிய எமது மகனின் ஞாபகார்த்தமாக ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட்ட நிறுவனமே “விஜயாலயன் அறக்கட்டளை – Vijayalayan Foundation” ஆகும்.

    தாயகத்தில் ஏற்பட்ட போர்ச்சூழல் காரணமாகப் பாதிக்கப்பட்ட வடக்கு, கிழக்கு மாகாணங்களைச் சேர்ந்த மாணவர்கள்; இருநூறு வருட காலமாக இலங்கையின் பொருளாதார வளர்ச்சியில் முதுகெலும்பாக இருந்தும் தமது வாழ்க்கைக்குத் தேவையான அடிப்படை வசதிகள் குறைவாக உள்ள மலையகத் தமிழ் மாணவர்கள் ஆகியோரின் கல்வி மேம்பாட்டிற்காக ஆரம்பிக்கப்பட்டதே இவ் அறக்கட்டளை ஆகும்.‘அனைவருக்கும் கல்வி’ என்பதே இதன் மகுடவாக்கியம் ஆகும்.

    ஒவ்வொரு குழந்தைக்கும் தரமான கல்வியை வழங்குவதன் மூலம் நமது இலக்குகளை அடையலாம். கல்வி மூலமே ஒரு சமுதாயத்தை ஒரு உன்னத நிலைக்கு கொண்டு செல்லலாம் என்று நாம் உறுதியாக நம்புகின்றோம்.
